We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Pipe Yard Hand to join our Odessa team. No prior experience is required — we provide comprehensive training for individuals who are motivated and eager to learn. This role is essential to supporting daily yard operations, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Position Overview

As a Pipe Yard Hand, you will assist with the staging, handling, and storage of tubular goods and other materials in an outdoor pipe yard environment. You’ll work closely with other team members to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stage pipe, rods and other materials for inbound and outbound shipments

  • Assist with loading and unloading pipe from flatbed trailers

  • Measure, inspect, and count inbound/outbound shipments using a tape measure and tally gun

  • Apply correct loading techniques, including pyramid and strip loading

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and workspaces

  • Accurately complete and maintain documentation and records

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and follow safety protocols

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and on uneven ground

  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

  • Collaborate effectively with teammates and work independently at times with minimal supervision

  • Comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Valid driver’s license required. ID cards not accepted.

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods

  • Experience with tubing, casing, pipe inspection, or logistics is a plus

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years in a pipe yard or oilfield environment preferred

  • Familiarity with PVF (pipe, valves, fittings) industry is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, math skills and organizational skills
